Cultural Donation

We all strive to meet the needs of the poor for water, food and clothing; but something must be done about cultural poverty and religious impoverishment. Decrease in helping the deprived and the poor in a society as a result of decline in religious and cultural values and beliefs will end in rise in its crime rate. If societies are defeated in terms of intellectuality, they will easily surrender their physical boundaries. If we give life to a human being for a few days with bread and water, but the right thoughts and beliefs pave the way for the happiness of the Hereafter. That’s why Imam Hussain (P.B.U.H) in a hadith, considers the salvation of a believer's beliefs even more important than the salvation of his life.

What should we do?

In the present age and with the specialization of human activities, cultural competition has also found a new way. Although traditional means of defending school and culture are still influential in the general public, they are gradually being replaced by new methods and technologies. As Pardekhani (means screenings, a kind of Iranian religious show), Naghali (means narration, it is the oldest form of storytelling in Iran), Ta'zieh ( means recitation, a kind of theater or Passion Play inspired by a historical and religious event), pulpit preaching, and even family and school have given way to cinema, television, social media, the virtual world, and the Internet. Nowadays, all schools, large and small, are overtaking each other in the use of up-to-date tools; such activities are driven by a capable workforce and ongoing investments. According to scholars and planners, in the present age, non-specialized and decentralized activities will not be fruitful. Personnel training and long-term planning are two sides of a triangle that are very difficult to achieve; but with the provision of these two vital and important aspects, a third aspect arises, and that is the financial capacity to implement the programs. Achieving any lofty goal depends on the realization of this triangle.

How can I help?

Different cultural institutions and centers provide their own funding in different ways; But the experience of non-governmental organizations in developed countries has shown us that the public assistance and cooperation is the best way to meet the financial needs of various cultural and religious projects. Billions of dollars are spent each year by non-governmental organizations around the world to promote the beliefs of different denominations, the supplier of this budget are people. Undoubtedly, the drop of donations paid with the sincere intentions of the believers can become a current and influential river in the culture of the society.

What are my donations spent on?

The foundation of the cultural donation is to support independent religious activities. Such activities are a mixture of rationality and interest in the school of Ahl al-Bayt (P.B.U.TH).

For example, the titles of some of the activities supported by the cultural donation are:

  • Publishing the name of Ahl al-Bayt (P.B.U.TH) and defending the Shia School in cyberspace;

  • Supporting educational and research activities;

  • Allowance for the poor to go on pilgrimage to Atabat;

  • Holding religious programs;

  • Sending advertising packages to deprived areas;

  • And...
